WHO KNEW?

A few weeks ago; Mike ventured to the local Home Depot.
He swiftly returned home with this 'nifty' little tool...my beloved "Sawz-ALL".

Prior to the arrival of my new friend 'power tool'; I spent several weeks -perhaps even months-fantisizing about trimming, pruning and sculpting my spooky, Adam's Family like trees into something truly breathtaking. ;-) Not me personally-heavens no! I had intended on paying a professional to do so. Senske quoted nearly five-times what I had budgeted for the project.
Needless to say, the project was temporarily put on hold.

Mike had every intention of being my 'knight' and taking care of those trees that seemed to harass me thus, the reason he purchased the saw to begin with. However; he had set a date with the boys to go to a Saturday matinee he assured me he would get to it when he returned.

I am not a patient person...surely Mike didn't expect me to wait two whole hours to get the project started. Naturally, I began immediately one limb, one dead branch and a few minor injuries...sort of...at a time.

I think my next door neighbor was amused and semi-concerned with what he saw unfolding from his front window. He came out to assist me for a while and then offered to haul the branches and debris away. We really do have wonderful neighbors!

Aww...that's better!
Ok-so it's not quite 'Edward Scissorhands Sculpted'
but, who knew I'd enjoy this project so much?
